Rapheal Begay is a visual storyteller based in Tségháhoodzání (Window Rock, Arizona). His work activates cultural landscape photography andoral storytelling traditions to document and celebrate the Diné way of life. His research and practice includecuratorial collaboration and community organizing informed by visualsovereignty and land-based knowledge. 

Begay is co-curator, with Hadley WelchJensen, of Horizons: Weaving Between the Lines with Diné Textiles (Museumof Indian Arts and Culture, Santa Fe, 2023–2025). He holds a BFA inPhotography with a minor in Arts Management and a Certificate in Museum Studiesfrom the University of New Mexico.
